World Factbook & Atlas

This app was one of the first I download it on my very first iPhone, over 15 years ago, and I am impressed that it is still available – even more so that it has been recently updated! I just wanted to stop in and give a thank you to the developer because he definitely deserves it! This app is packed full of great information, and you can easily get caught up for an hour learning things you never knew before. A very fun way to learn about the world around you.

No Factbook app can beat this. It’s the best out there, and contains everything I could have asked for. Very informative and useful. Intuitive interface and very easy to use and read. Great map. It’s simple design is not overcrowded with images, maps, or flags; yet uses them when necessary. Keeps out of your way but can be immersive. The paid version for flag descriptions and no ads is worth it, especially if you’re a flag buff. The ads always kept out of your way though, not at all annoying. Very great.

This is a fantastic app if you are interested in learning about the world. Once you buy the app initially, everything else is free as there’s no in-app purchases. Information on every country and territories’s history, economy, people, government, their flag symbolism and more is featured in an easy to access way.
