Advanced English Dictionary HD

Advanced English dictionary & Thesaurus app doesn’t require internet connection, and audio pronunciation works offline. This app has concise definition, and excellent thesaurus with word links. Its word search engine is excellent with very smart word suggestions when I don’t know how to spell the word. This app is an awesome dictionary. I have been using this app both online and offline. I've been using this app & another (big-name) dictionary both for a while; not daily, but as needed. I've enjoyed that I don't have to be online to use it, and I've loved for some unfamiliar words, how the Advanced English Dictionary also can give some history of the meaning(s) on the word. Recently, that other dictionary slipped in ads (not very subtle ones, either), &I went from free to charging to get back the ease of use that I expect in my apps. That one is now *gone*, and this AED app is my undisputed king of my dictionary apps. AED is an excellent dictionary app!
