Whitagram

Absolutely love this app for Instagram. I believe that’s the purpose of this app. Regardless, I just wish there was a grid option to do multiple photos. For example: Open image you want to create, after you’re done editing the first photo, you can save it to the Whitagram App. Next photo, do your edits, save it. Repeat until your satisfied. Then, open the grid layout, pick the photos you saved to Whitagram, and BAM. Grid Layout. You’re welcome.

Well-appointed app which has helped me get around a pervasive IG glitch that messes up heic iPhone photo intakes. So it was a relief at first to find an app that could deal with that. But the library upload interface to add photos is not easy to navigate at all. The only setting for organization beyond a couple default categories is alphabetical, and it includes dates in that list! So after Recents and Recently Added, it lists out photos taken in April by day and also year, then August etc. I prefer to mark my photos for IG in the Favorites album which can’t be renamed, and that takes forever to scroll to. I have to make a new folder just for this app, which is an annoying extra step to take. In addition, the app takes forever to reload after editing and saving a photo. This has been a known problem for years and not been addressed. So off I go to find an alternative.

Hi, as a photographer I think Whitagram is a godsend. I use it on a daily base. There’s two problems though. First one is that the border is less space below the photograph than above. This is a flagrant mistake in graphic design. There should be more border underneath the photograph than above. It could be optical illusion, but still is an eyesore. The second fault is that the export pixel size is not as at states. I export to the biggest pixel size, which is supposedly over 4000 pixels, but I have gotten complaints that my images are only 250 px longest side. Which is obviously way too small. I would not mind paying for this wonderful app should those two criteria be tackled and solved. Thank you for the creator of this app and hope to have this straightened out so I can give it 5 stars.
