Wellnote: AI Notes, PDF, Docs

I've been using this for several months now for daily class note taking at my University, and it's been a genuinely smooth experience. This app handles everything I need like writin, organizing, and PDF annotation without getting in the way. What really surprised me was getting a lifetime VIP deal just by logging in and exploring the app properly. The organization is clean, the tools are intuitive,and it works great whether I am typing or using a stylus. Highly recommend it to any student looking for a solid free note-taking app!!

I have tried many note taking apps, including apple notes, Evernote, one note, and a ton of others. This is one of the best, and it is free. The organization of notes is clear, simple, and very well done. The page customization is amazing. There are many pen options giving plenty for notes or drawing.

I’ve been using WellNote for about a month now after previously relying on GoodNote for several years. One of the main reasons for my switch was the increased pricing of GoodNote and its performance issues, particularly when handling PDFs created from image-heavy pages. GoodNote often became laggy with these files, making the reading experience less smooth. In contrast, WellNote handles the same image-based PDFs effortlessly, offering a very smooth user experience. That improvement, combined with the fact that WellNote is free, made it a compelling alternative. It includes almost all the features I used in GoodNote, except for a search function. Adding a search feature would be a valuable enhancement and would make WellNote a nearly perfect replacement for premium apps. Additionally, I’d suggest refining the design of the sidebar and the brush logos to give them a more elegant, artistic touch. Overall, WellNote has been a fantastic alternative, and I look forward to seeing it evolve even further.
