Meatmeet

I received This wireless unit as a gift and it has been a fantastic tool. Friends have tried to test it with their own and they were way off on their degrees. I’ve used this for multiple barbecues and on my smoker. The wife tries to take it from me for oven use also. I love the option of the countdown timer and the ambient temperature. I ended up buying one for my son-in-law and he loves it. He has used it for his brisket on the smoker. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a very accurate wireless thermometer.

So I used it a few times and it worked great. Now though the app is saying that all the meat I put in the smoker stays at 57.9 degrees but my external temperature is working just fine. My notification worked just fine though when the cooking was complete but I wasn’t able to monitor it. Not sure what to do now.

I haven’t had an opportunity to use the meat thermometer yet. Even though the design is sleek there doesn’t seem to be a way to add it to my WiFi network. This, and having no wires, was the main feature I was interested in so I find it a little disappointing. Update: I was able to work through the issue and get my first one connected, although I don’t recall the exact steps I took. I’ve now purchased a Meatmeet Pro for use with cooking oils and I’m unable to get it to initiate pairing. The light flashes but the app never advances past step one when I double click the button.
