StarNote: Handwritten Notes

Paid for the premium version because it’s THAT good. Intuitive and easy to use, many great features - basically as good as GN. Plenty of templates, writing tools, page options, I like that when you zoom in the brush size adapts, I love that there’s layers so I can tap to hide my writing for practicing, etc! It’s a fantastic app. I just hope the developers can add widgets and shortcuts to our most used notes. I have a digital journal I access multiple times a day and I wish I could more easily do so. Other than that, it’s a flawless app and I am happy to support the developers for a lifetime subscription that’s so cheap ($6), I’d pay a lot more than that for this amazing app.

I use this app for sheep music, since i needed one that was more convenient than the default. I wanted a free one that i could use but they all sucked. I Stumbled across this app that was the first like 10 notes free and that was perfect for me at the time! As i began to use the app more i fell more in love with it. This led me to buying the pro. With this it was only like $5 for a lifetime subscription. Thats what stood out it function like the expensve apps and does something better but is soo cheep! You really get a good bang for your buck!!!!! The only issue is the cloud storage. it has it but it connects to like Google Drive. So essentially it’s not cloud storage it doesn’t automatically update from my iPad to my iPhone. If i want it to i have to download the back up form Google Drive which take like less than a minuet! Other than that this app is great!

I was a notability user for 6 years and recently lost nearly one year of my notes by just sign out of iCloud accidentally. I thought I’m safe with syncing my google drive but somehow they didn’t save any of my notes, I found it out until when I lost my notes and trying to pull the back up which was ridiculous. Now I have been using this app for nearly a month and personal I really like it and I have to give a big thumbs up to how straight forward, clean, and reliable of the backup function on this app. I don’t have to afraid of losing my notes again. There is one thing that I would recommend to have which is my favorite function on notability is the recoding audio syncs with the notes. It allows you to go back to certain timeline and know what was the audio when you were writing this. Very helpful for students or who taking notes for meetings. I know it would be very hard to implement, but it would be a very nice add on.
