I’ve only had this app for a day, and I can’t quite say it’s working, but it’s motivating to track how far you’ve come. It’s important to track how far you’ve come, and I think this app will help me stop watching pornography. This app is very simple and there’s no purchases needed. For people who struggle with money, this app is helpful. I hope that whoever sees this will have the courage to quit these addictions and bad habits. I would say just take it one day at a time, and when you get the urge, think about your goals and why you wanted to quit. You got this.
EDIT: The app asked me to leave a review, but when I click “leave a review,” nothing happens, and there’s no way to close out the prompt. Because of this, I couldn’t see my progress. After a few weeks, it will didn’t go away, so I had to delete and reinstall the app. I lower well my progress, and I don’t know how much I’d made. It’s nice to have a clean, simple, ad-free app like this, no extra fluff. I like that it not only shows how many days since you last gave in, but also how many hours, minutes, and seconds! I also like the tiers that give you some a of progress. My one complaint is that I don’t usually find the daily “motivations” true or helpful, and that if they are too long, the top or bottom of them gets cut off. I also think it would be neat if you unlocked one motivation each day (though it’s nice that you can skip one of it’s not helpful). I also would like if the app came with a widget or daily notification/reminder since I sometimes forget about it.
The app is a great idea, the layout is solid, and it’s easy for anyone to pick up. The improvements would be having a reward system of sorts for accomplishing benchmark times. Like 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, etc. there be an extra motivational quote or words of encouragement. Perhaps have some built plans for people with different types of usage. Details on why someone could/would be addicted to porn. A panic button for if you’re about to relapse with some kind of quote or sidetrack activity. This is a free app and I can’t complain about that either. So many others try charging you to use their app/services and that kind of defeats the point.
