The bulb works great — but no Google home link?
The bulbs looks and works as expected with one exception. There doesn’t seem to be a way to link their app to Google home (Alexa instructions are provided in their app) but Google doesn’t seem to recognize the app for adding any reliable automation. I only use Google home for automation and this bulb declares that it works with Google but I can’t really see that it does.

Awesome lightbulbs!
I love my velaflame bulbs! They look amazing and I love that I am able to control them with my phone. It seems like there are a few bugs with the app—I couldn’t get the scheduling feature to work and it doesn’t look like there’s a preset to get back to the default natural flame color—but I’m sure all of the will be fixed in updates. Overall I’m very happy with my velaflame bulbs!

Works well once bulbs are set up
I get this is a v1 app, so some hiccups are expected. Once I got the bulbs connected, the app worked great. You need to make sure to get the bulbs in the purple mode by turning off for a few seconds, turning on for a few seconds, and repeating 3 or 4 times. Also try different WiFi access points
