I recently just switched from my MakerBot to AnkerMake’s M5C. Using the app is so easy that even a toddler can search and print. It functions great. Something’s I would suggest AnkerMake makes to this app is for the user to have the ability to view the thumbnail of their prints, be able to slice through your phone with more settings (like infill and bed adhesion, and most importantly scale). Once we slice it we should be able to see how it looks on the phone. Just a cool feature that would make this app even better. Overall this is one of the best apps I’ve used for 3d printing and I’d love to see my features come in one day.

I’ve had this MS5 Anker printer for a couple of days now. Sometimes it likes to work other times not so much. This does Not seem to be a physical printer issue. After running 4 or 5 Prints ( including failed due to adhesion) I get the following message on my IOS device. AnkerMake M5C 1 Cloud slicing failed, please try again. If it fails again, please check if there are any quality issues with the model using AnkerMake Studio on PC or Mac. I’ve waited this out once And it worked. This time around my frustration with the issue has caused Me to write this review. It’s beginning to seem, that this is to force using a PC with software and maybe more $$$ to get it going. This seems to be cloud slicer service issues. Why do I say that? 3 devices later ( one of them a droid and all in a short time) I’m still having the same problem. Hoping this gets resolved or the manufacturer can at least post if there are cloud slicer issues on their website. Going to give this another couple of days before I look for other software or maybe a different manufacturer.

This printer is as amazing and reliable as a Japanese commuter train, I have the M5C, and it pairs seamlessly with the app, which has become absolutely phenomenal. When they launched the built-in slicer, I thought it couldn’t be improved upon, until they dropped an update to include rotation and scaling. Then the latest update dropped and it became just as beautiful as it was handy. This app makes the printer a FANTASTIC VALUE, and I can’t imagine ever using anything else. It prints at 500mm/s on “Fast”, and the prints are amazing. On “Precision” it still prints 5x faster than I could EVER successfully print on my old printer, and the resolution is MIND-BLOWING. The layer-lines are indiscernible at arm’s length, and the strength is amazing.
