I have been using this app for almost a year and for a long time it was great, cars would normally arrive a few mins early but since easter it had been very hit and miss cars arriving late and this morning booked a car for 8am pick up 8:15 and still waiting for a car to be dispatched yet no contact from them to say they cannot get me picked up, if you make an advance booking and they cannot fulfill it they should contact you to say so you can make alternate arrangements not you having to chase then about it. Plus the quoted price (supposed to be guaranteed) isn’t alwats the actual price last booking price went up by £1 from booking to actual pick up.
Save yourself some heartache, book an Uber. This company, like most private hire firms, deserves to go out of business. We booked a short trip to a pub outside Bath for my birthday meal. We called in advance to confirm that it was acceptable to take a small, well-behaved dog in the car for the 10-minute trip. We double and triple checked that this was OK. It was the only reason we booked a minicab, a last chance for a minicab firm to win back some local business from modern companies that understand customer service. When the driver arrived, he refused to take us on account of the dog. I would have been more understanding of the mix-up but the way he spoke to my fiancee was totally unacceptable. Rude, arrogant and offensive. I called the company to explain what had happened. They didn't have any cars available and asked me to call back in 30 minutes, by which time our reservation would have been long gone. We're now stranded with no way of getting to the restaurant, so my birthday meal is gone. It's not the end of the world, but it very much is the end for companies like V Cars. Our driver would never have dreamed of speaking to us that way if he'd been subject to a rating system. It won't be long before they're all out of business, and rightly so
I was recommended vee cars last week by a friend. I booked a eight seater for last night to take us out at 7-30 and to pick us up at 11-30 they were spot on with the timings the drivers were very helpful and friendly and the price we were quoted was very competitive. I would recommend the company to any one and would use them again with out any problems. Thanks again
