Love the business app, I enjoy Valley Bank’s staff they are great, helpful and friendly and efficient. My only criticism is that when I invariably change phones because my password is on Face ID I forget my password. Valley Business does not have 24hr password reset. It is not enough to make me leave Valley Bank but enough for me to write this review and complain. Solution: have 24hr password reset for all accounts. Customers are fallible.
Mobile banking at Valley is very convenient and user-friendly. I am moderately savvy when it comes to technology however this app has truly made my personal and business life so much easier. I have avoided hundreds of trips to the bank and hundreds of hours doing so. It allows me to make immediate deposits and accelerate the clearance process to keep my small Law Office afloat and maintain cash flow for bills and payroll. I am also appreciative of customer service who is always available for any questions that I may have, albeit very seldom. Thank you, Mark Sokolich, Esq.
This app is completely useless. (1) the app tells me all the time that my password is wrong but then I open my computer and use the exact same credentials to login successfully to the website. (2) the app unregistered my faceID frequently then when I try to re-register I run into the password issue mentioned in my last point. (3) the app is extremely slow and laggy, and looks like a web view from the mid 1990s. Terrible user experience. (4) crashes most times I try to do simple things like upload a cheque. This is a pretty sad situation since one would imagine a smaller bank like Valley would have a digital experience (app+web) that’s far superior than the bigger banks that are plagued by endless red tape and bureaucracy. Sadly, I’m going to close my accounts and go to Bank of America. Never thought I’d be saying this when I opened my valley accounts 9 months ago. Oh, on a positive note, their customer service is good and that’s the only reason I’ve lasted this long.
