Hi there, I’m an ENFP, and I threw myself into online dating the second I turned eighteen. I guess I was really excited to jump into adult love! I saw the advertisement for this app in someone’s insta bio, downloaded the app, and was greeted with the... sort of a basic, short test. Now, at first I was a bit annoyed, as someone who’s studied the cognitive functions more extensively, but now I understand it’s function— to make the app accessible to anyone with an interest in the system! If you have a good understanding of mbti, you should be able to tell if someone is mistyped anyways. There are so many types of people on the app, with so many different levels of understanding of mbti, but we’re all united by the desire to meet someone for their heart and mind. (For the most part, cough cough.) And I think that’s pretty amazing. Today, I have a wonderful INTJ (not mistyped) boyfriend named Levent from Turkey, and we’re very much in love— he wrote a review here too! See if you can find it 😎 Despite a great experience meeting so many interesting people, system-wise, the app isn’t perfect. For example, I’m bisexual, and my preference for type differs between genders. For girls, I look for IxFPs, but for guys, I prefer INxJs. This led to me having to constantly retake the test and switch back and fourth between the two types, since you can only select one as your ideal match. Also, the test at the beginning is a bit tedious to those who already know their type. There should be an option to skip, just my 2 cents.

Devs are nice and very responsive. Once even fixed a bug quickly after I spotted one. Impressive. Used to have reverse dislikes. That stopped. Biggest issue is that there is little to no American users and it seems the first big wave of people came on to do the personality test and left. Folks are just too far away and the introverted men are just not into it. Again I am an introvert myself but I have learned to come out of my shell. It’s frustrating I have to do all the talking and frankly it’s not worth my time. I don’t expect people to be instant friends with me or have a life long friendship. But it seems many have this great enthusiasm at first and are easy to talk to. But then distance comes up or the convo just fades due to them being reserved. It’s tiresome and I feel this app isn’t worth it for me. Hate having promises made only for people to flake away. No more. I have my close friends and done searching for others on these apps where they don’t. Again this is my personal experience and yours may be a better one. But it’s just too difficult being friends with someone online these days. Esp when communication isn’t even close to being a reasonable two way street.

This app is amazing! I love that it’s free so you don’t run into annoying obstacles! You can see everyone who’s liked you and matched with you. This is the way all friendship and dating apps should be. I’ve been on it for a month and all the people I’ve talked to want to have genuine conversations. It’s a great way to make new connections and friendships. You can meet people from other countries, and as someone who is not subject to diversity in their average life but wishes they were, this is excellent. I’ve fangirled to my sisters and friends about this app, that’s how much I like and appreciate it. Some of them joined it and they love it as well! I really enjoy how the app takes your own preferences into consideration when finding people for you to match with. If you set your distance to 200 miles, it won’t show your profile to people outside that boundary. This means if you are a 20 year old interested in talking to other 20-somethings and not getting hit up by men in their 30s, as long as your preferred age range is set this will not happen to you! Only note for improvement is that I wish text would stay in the box if you leave the chat, because sometimes I want to reference something before sending a message but what I’ve typed is gone when I come back.
