UNICO Campania app

Unfortunately, much like the other reviews-this did not work for us due to not receiving the SMS confirmation text to set up the account. As they responded to some of the other reviews “did you email us for help?,” I thought I’d be proactive in doing so. After emailing them-they told me my account was activated-it was not. I emailed them with screenshots back explaining that it was not. And received no responses. The only place I have found in my time here to buy SITA bud tickets is from a man in a reflective vest near the bus stops in Amalfi. I’m not sure if that person exists at other or towns, but it makes things pretty tricky!

This app along with Go EAV share a login system and are unable to send me verification SMS, nor is there any other solution for registration. The result is that it’s impossible to purchase any fare. After contacting them by email, they activated my account for use without the SMS verification. I am able to purchase tickets.

I love Southern Italy and visit every year… I want the best for this region of the world, and I was excited to see that FINALLY the appropriate Campanian authorities decided to join the 21st century and create an app to streamline their Byzantine and confusing mass transit system(s). Unfortunately, as one who travels here often might expect, it’s a total disaster. It’s the Naples-traffic-cop of the App world: ineffective and universally loathed. Like everyone else reviewing this app, I never got the SMS text (US phone number) and I can’t even use it to buy tickets. What a classic bureaucratic mess. I’m sure that whomever launched simply declared it a success and then never looked at a single review… I will wait patiently until 2026 or 2027 when they get around to updating the app… maybe then they will fix some of these issues……
