UGREEN NAS

the device runs well, server has run fantastic and overall have been very pleased, but the media player on mobile devices might be the worst thing i have ever tried to use. fix that and it would be perfect. the media player would pop up with a loading symbol repeatedly and pause my video after 3 seconds of use, if it didn’t have that problem it would be extremely choppy and repeat frames while distorting audio. other times the audio wouldn’t be in sync with the video, and would be 10 seconds behind.

App is just fine and often gets updated. People seem to forget that this is still a new system and it’s going to take a bit to get all the extra features and bugs out of it. I’ve had nothing but good with this system and runs great, all the docker apps work flawlessly, Jellyfin, jellyseer, sonar, radar and qbit, I don’t use the app for all the features that’s what a PC is for, where you can access the web page and folders in a network drive. I’m assuming these whining users giving the app 1 star are trying to run the entire nas system through the app which is just a silly concept.

I spent hour on the media center before the update the name. After the update and new change to the app I completely destroy my libraries. What I’m supposed to spend 3 hours everytime you guys update an app to reorganize everything? Absolutely unacceptable Honestly I used to say the nas was 5 stars but it nowhere near it. They don’t have a actual backup system for external harddrives…. Seriously like it’s 1995 that’s embarrassing for a big company not to have a basic feature and there no timetable to it. They need to get it together otherwise I’ll build my own nas and tell everyone not to get this nas. It’s honestly a shame but to many tedious thing has been happening as of late. The product been out for well over a year this is not a beta product anymore. A bughere and there isn’t ok but tolerable. Core issues like not external back up and the shenanigans with the media center is not ok
