The entire development team should be fired. There seems to be a huge disconnect between the intention of the bank and user experience. I would recommend that UBA simply buys one of the on the shelf e-token apps out there. I don’t understand why UBA will disable my ability to make large transactions without prior notice and then ask me to download a non-functional app for secure token. What was wrong with password + pin + email/sms otp?
Why should I download an app only for it to tell me I’m not eligible and refuse to even open? What’s the point of creating a “secure pass” app if it’s not serving its purpose? Honestly, you can do better. I’m highly disappointed — I wasted my subscription downloading the app and still wasted my time trying to set it up, all for nothing. You don’t even deserve a single tap to rate
Very lousy app. It simply says you aren’t eligible even after entering the right banking user ID. Then you are prevented from making a bulk transfer so that UBA can continuously charge you 50 naira per transfer until you reach the desired amount you wanted to transfer in bulk. I will Definitely close my UBA account due to this idiotic app and its frustration to prevent bulk transfers.
