TV Forecast: Shows & Movies

This app has the best and cleanest interface for Trakt. It is really easy to use, and I love the options to customize the interface and colors. It is well designed. It also has an iPad version which looks and works exactly the same, and Trakt synchronization works great. Each show and episode shows a rating, but it's not clear where this rating comes from and there is no way for me to rate the show like other Trakt clients. The only other suggestion I can think of is shows which have ended are listed in the "up to date" section alongside shows, which are waiting for the next season. Maybe there should be an ended section? Or maybe an option to automatically archive these?

Widget font is too small. Have to squint to see it so don’t like to use. Also would like a widget that displays only pinned shows (with larger font). Most of these tv apps show your next episode — but you could have long abandoned a show and its next episode is still showing in the app and the widget. This app gives you some options to display the most recently watched shows’ episodes which is nice but even better would be to only show pinned shows because those are the ones you are most interested in at the present.

This is easily one of my favorite TV trackers (that now does movies!) on the App Store and I’ve probably tried them all! The features are really well thought out, but most importantly it’s just a great app that works incredibly well. Other trackers lose sync, forget that you’ve marked a show as watched, have bad UI that isn’t optimized for current iPhones/iPads and this one just works. The addition of movies is a great added bonus, plus it shows you if there’s an mid/end credit scene! Stoked to have found this app and am happy to subscribe! I do have one feature recommendation for the developer that would make this app even better: lists. I watch some shows by myself and some shows with my partner and it’d be great to have different lists to keep those shows separate!
