Turn Off the Lights for Safari

Got stuck on “on switch” on every web page after one week of use and had to delete the app because the options page wouldn’t even open. I have a lot of tech experience. I have programmed before. I have worked out kinks in websites with my old college tech support when they needed help. Could not figure out how to troubleshoot and get it to work even after deleting and reinstalling or turning it off and on in the safari extensions menu. The website still wouldn’t pull up and let me change the options to even see why it was stuck on so I couldn’t see any of my webpages because they were all greyed out when I have this app installed. Needs troubleshooting on the developers end and then I will update my review.

This application has extensive features for safari that I have yet to explore. What I can say is that the night mode works perfectly and I imagine just as well as the multiple other paid for dark mode safari extension apps… and it’s free. My only suggestion is that with the many features and customizable settings included in this app, it might be beneficial to place the actual dark mode settings more front and center in “Manage Options” page. This is a top-tier dark mode / night mode Safari extension for iOS 15+. It’s also free, and doesn’t look to have any privacy issues. I’d recommend changing the background color to pure black, and set it to automatically apply to all webpages. It works great. For the developer, it may be worth considering having the app open directly to night mode settings. I think that will be a lot more popular in this mobile app than it may be on desktop. After my experience with this, I’ll definitely be looking into the extension for Microsoft Edge on my PC.
