I haven’t reviewed a game since SMT Dx2. This a cool dungeon crawling rogue experience. Dope cards with useful abilities and good character design. Reminds me of old school SMT and DDS. I even put this in my bio on Dx2 😂
The early on Mormo card is a great metaphor for the game itself. An image that looks like a lazy, AI-generated demon cobbled together from Kaneko's Alp, Helios, and one of his many Nekomatas. It exists to be used as fodder for enemy attacks and costs nothing. This game is basically like Mormo - It provides a gameplay like experience just thinly held together by lazy, unimpressive AI. Even the event/writing is clearly generated as improbable situations are wrote out with nonsensical reactions from your player. So yeah, it's free, has Kaneko-like art, and is indeed a playable game. Is it fun though? Well, if you were impressed by the Mormo card then yes - you'll surely love this game too. Mormo!
I have been a huge fan of Shin Megami Tensei and Kaneko’s artwork. When I heard he had a new project and medium to express it I was excited to play. This game play is exciting and I really like it! Good work! Kaneko if you read this good job buddy! And everyone else who worked on it.
