I came for Chris Hansen and stayed for the Takedown! This show on TruBlu is more addictive than a plate of chocolate chip cookies. Just when you think it can’t get any better, Hansen walks in and asks, ‘Why don’t you take a seat right over there?’ Watching these predators squirm is my guilty pleasure, and it’s just like Hansen says, ‘I’m Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC, and we’re doing a story on computer predators.’ Except now, it’s on TruBlu, and it’s even better! The app works smoothly, streams flawlessly, and let’s face it, there’s no better way to spend a Friday night than watching these guys realize their chat logs don’t match up to their story. If you haven’t downloaded TruBlu yet, you’re ‘free to leave whenever you like,’ but trust me, you won’t want to!

Being an adult now but having been victimized in many horrific ways by much much older men when I was a child and teen, this program and the task forces that works so passionately and diligently to get these predators off of the street and the web , is more healing than you’ll ever know!!! It is also so beneficial for my teenagers to see how manipulative and quickly these predators can take advantage of a situation. These episodes are very well done, and it’s frightening, but also not surprising that I grew up half of my life in Marquette County Michigan and now live in South Dakota between two Native American reservations . It’s very very sickening & frightening to know that these vulnerable teenagers usually go unnoticed due to lack of resources ($$$) and support systems, in rural & poor communities. Please TruBlu producers seriously consider doing this in South Dakota : North Dakota on the standing rock & Cheyenne River Reservations!! Trafficking, and drugs are so prevalent and our children and future suffer because of it!! But really appreciate the work you do!

Chris’ work spans multiple decades of journalistic excellence! As a TruBlu subscriber I watch his TakeDown series. While the subject matter is typically disturbing, and even vile at times, it is both timely and relevant. Parents and teens alike need to understand the gravity of the “predator culture”. Chris does an excellent job exposing these monsters who have no conscience regarding violating the innocence of children just like yours! This series is enlightening and educating and every parent should listen to at least a few of them to understand how graphic, divisive and diabolical and eerily casual these people are. They live among us and your children are their target. I commend Chris Hansen for continuing to dive into the mire and filth to expose these people, and make sure they are held accountable for their horrific crimes! Well done and highly recommended!
