Transkriptor has gone from a reliable tool to a complete mess. I trusted this app to record and transcribe three different meetings, one of which was extremely important. In every case, the app cut the recordings by more than half during transcription. What makes this worse is the lack of a proper support system. There is no escalation path, and responses feel like generic ChatGPT replies asking for files I already shared (which were clearly truncated by the app after processing). Up until recently, the app worked well- solid, consistent, and dependable. Since the latest update, it’s been nothing but broken functionality and vague promises of a fix. I was told Monday they found a bug and expected to resolve it “by tomorrow.” Still nothing. Their support system is disorganized and fragmented, which is shocking for a global app handling business-critical content. Bottom line: do not rely on Transkriptor for anything important, especially on mobile. It’s been a waste of time, energy, and, worst of all, trust. Until they implement real fixes and real customer support, I cannot recommend this app to anyone.
This AI transcription app impresses with remarkable accuracy, offering a cost-effective solution per minute in comparison to alternatives. However, there’s room for improvement in editing features. Integrating a function to link transcribed words with their corresponding timestamps in the video or audio would elevate the user experience significantly.
The application is good for the Arabic language, but there is some difference between the subscription plan within the application and the subscription plan on the website. The website has three plans for personal subscription, while in the application there are only two plans.
