I had to delete this app as it would switch itself on randomly. The last occasion it did this was in the middle of the night, which was most annoying, and hence subsequently deleted. I do still listen occasionally via the internet. As for the general content, the sports chat was generally excellent, particularly Mark Pougatch, the music less so. Given the premise behind Track Radio, it would be wrong to say I would much prefer 100% sports chat, however, it could either be predominately chat with occasional music, or vice versa. I’m finding it to be the latter, and as there is only so much of the music I can take, the amount I’m listening is limited.
I like sports but I’m not mad keen on some of it, but I love this! The mix of chat, really like the music and it’s a great combination of proper info with a slightly gossipy feel. Lovely to have Vassos back on the radio.
A station that sounds broader than the usual football-heavy stations. Insightful discussion across multiple sports, great music selection (Oasis to Bowie), and a clean, reliable app. Easy to keep on all day — highly recommended.
Welcome to Track Radio, Britain’s only sports and music station!
