The TopScan used to be a nifty basic scanner with some added advanced options that were bonus to make this the GO TO product to buy. After advertising lifetime updates and getting millions of people to buy them, they said “oh, so sowwy. You need su-scwipchin yeally. You mus be weary upset. Too bad fo yuuu.” You can’t trust a Chinese company that pulls illegal consumer moves like that. They’re probably collecting your data too. Look at the size of their files. It’s absurd. Report them to Consumer Protection and report them to congress under “HR 7521- an act to protect the US from a threat posed by foreign adversary controlled applications”. Maybe they’ll change their song.

I looked on your forum and saw many posts asking for export functions for live data recording - I personally need it because I don’t know much about cars and use AI to tell me what the data is saying. Your response is that you don’t have any plans for it at the moment and are mostly focused on adding cars and models to the software! Which is ABSURD considering you’re more focused on new customers than some of the most basic functions that’d help the current ones! You should be much more focused on KEEPING the current members than bringing in more and more but lacking in some fundamental functions that’s very much weird to not find in the app Also the fact that I have to enter my car VIN every time and how long it often takes is very annoying cuz many times you decide to use it while driving and don’t have all that time behind red lights and have to forgo it altogether! It shouldn’t take more than 2-4 seconds with 5g connection and the supposedly capable Bluetooth drive. The capabilities are good, but the lack of basic functions and lagging and crashing defeats so much of the usability..

This is a very capable and useful tool. I hav used it several times and was impressed by the amount of things it can do. Bidirectional control complete system pre and post scan included. Now it’s not perfect has some glitches and sometimes all the functions don’t work on a particular application but they do updates often and I think they really try to make it better all the time. I think it’s a great option for the home diy to a professional tech, the dongle nice but I recommend you find a lanyard or something to put on it it’s easy to forget. Great option for the price
