Top Solitaire

This isn’t quite as good as the desktop version I have that runs on my G5 PowerMac. This interface isn’t as intuitive or easy to understand, some of the animation graphics are not as good and, even though I contacted support and followed their instructions exactly, this version won’t allow me to customize the card back. That version from my old PowerMac runs flawlessly and you can easily customize the back of the cards.

I loaded this app because I wanted a solitaire game that would tell me when there were no more moves that could win the game. I am a big fan of their McSolitaire game on the Mac so I figured I'd like this one too. On the iPad though the placement of the cards and the stacks makes it cumbersome to play. With both stacks at the top your hands cover the cards that are being played. If the face down stack was on the side and the suit stacks were on the other side it would make the face up cards always visible. The other thing that bothers me is that touching a card does not always work. I have been playing with the sensitivity but still find that it doesn't detect or respond to my touches regularly.
