Lately The Picklr iOS app has been running super slow on my iPhone 17 iOS v26.1. Please fix! During the daytime, I’ve noticed that most courts are often empty, likely reflecting traditional office hours. If you’re hoping for a game during the day, be prepared for a quieter experience. However, evening bookings tend to fill up quickly, so planning ahead is crucial. Think of The Picklr like a gym; while it aims to sell unlimited memberships, it thrives on player engagement. An empty court is no fun for anyone. •Suggested Features While the app excels in performance, there are a couple of features that I believe would significantly enhance the user experience: 1. Calendar Integration: It would be fantastic to have the option to add bookings directly to my calendar, akin to the functionality offered by the PodPlay app. This feature would ensure I receive reminders for my future bookings, making scheduling much easier. 2. Account Management: I’d also appreciate the ability to unlink my DUPR account independently, without needing to reach out to tech support. This would streamline the user experience further. PodPlay has this feature. In conclusion, The Picklr is a user-friendly app that performs well, and with these enhancements, it could be even better. Highly recommended for pickleball enthusiasts!
I have been using this app on my phone and iPad for about 5 months without problems until recently. Since I upgraded both iPhone and iPad to IOS 26, I have had problems with the app loading correctly when I am on my WiFi network at home. It works fine on cellular and mostly fine with other WIFI networks, but works only occasionally on my home WIFI. I have been through every permutation of reinstalling the app, reinstalling the network, working with Eero support (my router/mesh) and my ISP’s support. I think it is likely some combination of IOS 26/wifi/Picklr compatibility. Hopefully the developers will work this out soon.
I played at the picklr for the first time in July of 2023. I had a pickleball group that played outdoors but the group would die every season when it got too hot or too cold. Now we can play year round no matter the weather. We love it! Picklr staff and facilities are top notch. Cant wait for the locations in Vegas to open.
