During the sign-up process, a payment popup appeared that looked like part of the app’s normal checkout. I entered my debit card info there. Within a short time, fraudulent transactions showed up on that card. I immediately deleted my account, uninstalled the app, and had my bank cancel and reissue the card. I was told by someone using this app for group bookings that it’s supposed to be free for users — which makes the card popup during signup even more concerning. If it’s free, there’s no clear reason a card entry screen with no visible payment processor branding should appear at all during signup. I can’t say for certain how the charges are connected, but the timing was too close to ignore, and the popup did not look like a standard, trustworthy payment flow. Do not enter real card information into this app without serious caution. If you’ve already signed up, check your bank statements closely. I’ve reported this to my bank and to Apple.
This app was used during a tournament very successfully. Everyone knew exactly who they were playing next and where. It was also great to track your opponents progress, to let you know if you needed to step it up our change strategy. My only problem was not being able to assign the number of courts when I setup a tournament myself. It auto assigns depending on the number of players, but when you have a club that only has 4 courts it’s and a different number of players it’s frustrating. Other than that a cool app with tons of potential to save headaches and time.
PART 2 “Hi picklerickbenjohns, We are sorry you had a poor experience. We are also confused about how you would refer to an app as dishonest? Especially since it is a free app?” I want to address the issue that I've been experiencing with one of your developers. A promise was made to me that if I met specific criteria, which I did, I would receive a free paddle worth up to $200. However, the developer has been unresponsive to my inquiries and did not follow through on the promise in a timely manner. Over the course of a month, I reached out to the developer multiple times through various channels, including the app, Facebook messenger, and text message. Despite my efforts, I received no response until it was roughly a month later and multiple attempts were made. I made a review then you tried to reach out to save face. While I appreciate that the he has attempted to reach out to me, the delay of over a month is unacceptable. I no longer desire to receive the paddle that was promised to me, but I still expect the company to treat their customers with respect and fulfill their commitments in a timely manner. I invested a lot of time and effort into fulfilling the criteria, and it's disappointing to be ignored and left without any resolution. I hope that the company takes appropriate steps to address this issue and ensure that other customers don't have similar experiences in the future.
