The heartwarming simulation game--Showa Candy Shop

I stumbled across this game by pure chance and thought “why not give it a-go?” As soon as I started the game I was drawn in by the simplicity of it -wasn’t very demanding and its main goal wasn’t too crazy hard. But what kept me interested were the letters. The letters being sent back and forth kept me till the end. It was heart warming and yet heart wrenching. But overall it was worth staying till the end. I am going to get the second version most likely. Thanks for the tears and smiles!

I love the simplicity of this game and the story narrated by the letters really drew me in. If you want a game with no demanding gameplay, this is it.

The game itself is adorable, and the story (told through letters sent to and from the shopkeeper) is both heartbreaking and heartwarming by turns. Definitely worth sticking with until the end.
