So Close to perfect

Please combine to watch and shows, no need to have these as 2 places. Use the to watch layout but drop the dumb large watch button and instead display the episodes list like the shows section but have it auto scroll to latest unwatched episode so you can click to mark it watched. Under each show put up next S01 E05 then under that put “10 episodes left” or “3 days” only for shows where all episodes watched. Then if all episodes watched then put 120 days or returning if unknown or ended. Makes no sense to have 2 areas when these should be combined with a better way to display the info. Your widget is good but offer a list option with small posters and show name and S02 E05 3 days so that you can show 5 upcoming and for shows that dump more than one episode don’t display more than 1 time so you get next episode for 5 different shows.

Gold Standard TV Tracking App 🥇

Update: Thank you for the 2 column layout on iPad. Looks great! 🙌🏼 I’ve been trying all of the free TV tracking apps, but none of them hit all the marks. I pulled the trigger to purchase this app and give it a try… and so glad I did! Really great app guys! Love: the overall interface, grid view option, and the clear countdown on when the next showing will be, ease of checking off a watched show, no troubles finding any show I’ve searched for, no bugs so far, great Discover section broken up into streaming services, etc… and really like the “anticipated” suggestions for something new, and it looks great on my iPad (which I tend to use more in this case).

Crazy price changes

I’ve been using the app for about a year now, and it’s been pretty useful for tracking shows. While I understand the desire for every developer to switch from one time payments to the subscription model, I just don’t understand the thought process some have when it comes to deciding how to price it. This app went from a one time purchase of $5 to an annual subscription of $10. Historically, it’s had pretty infrequent updates, so I’m not sure why they felt it justified to take the price we paid one time and make us pay double it yearly. Or to pay an even more insane $75 one time purchase again. For existing users, it’s not like we are getting any real increase in value. I could somewhat understand maybe a $5/year annual subscription to help fund ongoing development. But $10 is just way too much. And I don’t see many new users finding it worth that much either. And for existing users, we should be able to get a discount on the new “lifetime” purchase. It’s a good app, which is why I’m leaving 3 stars and would have given it 5 before. But it seems like the dev just went into greedy cash grab mode now.
