Sylvi: Language Penpals

The amount of love, effort, and attention to detail that the developers have put into this app is unreal. This is something everyone needs to have if they are learning a language. By far, the greatest tool that I have at my disposal, and I have invested a lot into several different apps and websites. This one tops them all!! If you think this is just an AI messaging app it’s not! That is just the absolute tip of the iceberg! There’s so much the app offers beyond that including personalized lessons based on your errors while chatting, personalized flashcards (not only for words, but phrases too), there’s a section where you can read news in the other language and easily translate and have a conversation about that news article, which i think is just the coolest thing. anyways, there is so much to this app, it is a necessity for me at this point. I love it, I use it every day, and I find myself WANTING to use it everyday!! Thank you devs, this is a work of art!! Im so happy with it!!

This program is brilliant. It’s like haSylvia personalized language program in the palm of your hand. The diverse range of ways to study and learn cover so many more bases than most language apps I’ve tried (and believe me, I’ve tried them all.) Being able to converse with the computer penpals and then have Sylvi generate lessons explaining what you rocked and where you can grow in each conversation is the kind of instant feedback that helps make SPEAKING the language actually feel possible. I love being able to save and review words/phrases, I love having a social human messaging component, and I’m so impressed with how it encourages continued use without that ‘gamey’ feeling that starts to shift focus from the learning to the streaks. I’ve actually replaced my doomscrolling with this app and it’s improved my overall mood and happiness level, which isn’t something they advertise, but definitely an added bonus! 100% will be using this program for the long haul.
