I am writing to formally address a significant discrepancy concerning a recent subscription charge that appeared on my statement following my enrollment in your complimentary trial service. Approximately one week ago, I activated your advertised 7-day free trial with the explicit intention of thoroughly evaluating your platform's capabilities and user experience. However, from the outset of this trial period, I regrettably encountered severe and persistent technical impediments. The platform consistently proved inaccessible, marked by recurring website downtime and an inability to successfully log in, thereby preventing any interaction with the service's features. Three days into the trial, I proactively contacted your support team via email to report these critical access issues. To date, I have not received any acknowledgement or response to that communication, leaving my concerns unaddressed. Despite these ongoing operational failures and my complete inability to utilize or even access the service throughout the trial duration, my account was subsequently debited for a full subscription fee. This situation is particularly concerning, as the fundamental purpose of a free trial — to afford prospective users the opportunity to assess the product before committing to a subscription — was entirely undermined by your platform's unavailability. It directly contradicted the promotional emphasis on a "much improved" website experience, which unfortunately was not reflected in my actual encounter. Given that I was demonstrably unable to access or derive any benefit from the service for which I have been charged, I respectfully request a complete reimbursement of the amount debited from my account. I kindly ask for this refund to be processed without delay. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter
I wouldn’t consider myself a great geologist by any means. But I do care a lot about Record-keeping and sharing memories. Storied makes it so easy and convenient to do it all on the go. Whether it is about my family activities that day or my great great grandmother or a favorite recipe. It all matters in the end. I love that I can have my family search memories imported. It makes it very easy to take pictures that other people have published, find a census record or other Historical document, or even a newspaper clipping from Storied and quickly create a meaningful story about the person and who they were. It’s not just about charts and dates. The stories matter so much and I love that Storied gets that. Every time I share a story that I have written, it almost always spark deeper discussions about our family. I almost always get additional information, photos, or resources. Especially from my parents, which matters a great deal as they are getting older. I truly love what Storied is doing and how it enriches my love and appreciation for the people who came before me.
I love this app - it makes family history more like scrolling Instagram and puts the part of family history that I actually like front and center. You know, the stories. The memories. Who’s got time for all the pedigree charts and christening dates etc etc? Now just gotta get my mom on here so she can digitize all those scrapbooks in the basement…
