StoReel - Movies, Dramas & TV

Let me start by saying the shorts on this app are actually decent if not pretty good. But there are other apps that have the same if not better quality for a much better price point. That being said I still pay for the VIP selection every once in a while to catch up on all the shorts I’ve pre saved to make sure I watch enough to justify the high price. Things I wish the app would fix or add would be that the thumbnail pics are always black with the logo. No picture. It makes it hard to pick shows and there’s no synopsis for you to read what the short is about. You’re basically going in blind. I don’t have time to waste like that. App would be significantly better if they’d fix those two things.

I downloaded the app and paid for the VIP subscription so I can watch a show. It was a little steep but I figured I can pay the once and finish the show and then cancel the subscription. It took me off the app to purchase the subscription and even though I paid through Apple Pay it doesn’t show up as a subscription and I can’t cancel the subscription. Makes me think this is a scam. There is also no place on the app or the website where I can cancel the subscription. Stay away from the app. :(

StoReel is a gem for anyone who loves bite-sized dramas! The picture and production quality are surprisingly high, making each episode visually engaging. The stories I watched are cringy and cheesy in the best way—exactly what short dramas should be! Love that they have multiple sub languages available. Can’t wait for more series to drop! Keep them coming!
