SpeakBeat Metronome - 1 2 3 4

First off, I must say your app rocks! Love it! Very simple interface and can crosstalk with other apps. The ability to hear the nome actually speak the beats for me is also immensly helpful. It also thankfully works on my 5S. I can use the 5S to navigate beats as I record on 12 mini or other device without disturbing the recording functions. Just wondering if you could show the type of tempo for each bpm that is playing? (eg Adante, Moderato, Grave, Adage,etc.) Thanks for your time!

I just found out about this app a few weeks ago, and it’s life changing. Growing up with a brother who’s a drummer, I conditioned myself to tune him out while we practiced different music at the same time— him on the drums and myself on the piano. As a result, I tuned out the metronome as well. As both a pianist and now also a piano teacher, I’m so excited about this app! Upon running across a mention if it in a blog post, (and so many times since then!), my thought was/is, “where have you been all my life?!” Complete with the heart eyes:) 😍😍 I’m truly so grateful for what you’ve done. You all are clearly amazing. So please take this as a compliment, because it’s a reflection on how much of a genius one of my students and I think you are… We would love to see some way to add polyrhythms on SpeakBeat. (I tried to email this as feedback but it said my device wasn’t supported for that..?)

I’ve tried multiple app-based metronomes and this is by far the best one. It’s so much easier to hear someone counting since this is what you do when playing music - you count. You don’t (usually) think or say a weird tone as you play! This app counts the beats and unlike other similar apps, it speaks in a normal human voice (and there are multiple different options for the type of voice) and not a creepy robot voice. It can also count in various subdivisions which is really unique and helpful. The free version works perfectly but it’s well worth $1.99 to remove the ads. My one request would be that the app work in landscape mode since I have to keep my iPad plugged in while playing so landscape mode is much more convenient. UPDATE: the developer added landscape mode!
