Southern Bank

I appreciate online banking. The app is comparable to the other banks that I have dealt with. My only complaint is not pertaining to the app but rather the payment date. Previously I was able to set the payment date a few days away from the transaction date. Now it is set too far in advance unless I pay a fee. In the future I will research other banks policies and if I find one that sets payment dates within a few days after the transaction without additional fees, I will change banks. I do receive exceptional service from the West Plains staff however I deal more with online banking rather than in person.

There was an error on mobile deposit in that I entered one account number on back of check and submitted online to different account. The error was not caught by software program. I was told that I was sent an email but no follow up by the bank. I feel this is a serious problem for anyone using mobile banking. This also happened with a previous mobile deposit but was problem with bank not mine. This

SouthernBank has been my bank for 30 years. The service is great with this app. You can pull up your account & do several things instead of calling or going to the bank. I am disabled now & cannot drive all the time so having the option to deposit checks has been great. I have not had any problems with any deposits that I have made. I was a little worried the first time I used the app for a deposit, however it gives you easy step by step instructions. Very easy to understand!
