Soul Origin

Two days running I have purchased coffee and the app is not registering that I have purchased coffee it is saying 0 instead of 1 for each purchase. It should not be saying 0 when you buy coffee it should say 1 because for every 5 you get a five dollar voucher. If there is a problem with the app then it needs to be fixed. Marrickville Metro said maybe they are doing something with the app??

The app is useless, reward you’ve earns only last 2weeks max, which makes no sense since you’ve earned them and should be able to decide when to use them yourself, not be pressured. Rewards system itself is terrible. $35 worth of coffee just to get a $5 voucher…. One of the worst “rewards” systems I’ve seen. Any smart company would base the reward on what’s been ordered to earn said reward. I could’ve bought only small coffees and gotten the exact same reward. I bought strictly large (their large is tiny af) iced lattes, which are $7 each, totalling $35, yet I get the same rewards as if I only spent $25. Rewards hardly work or can’t be claimed the way the app states, had staff tell me the app was wrong despite it stating what you could redeem. Get The Coffee Club VIP membership instead, it pays for itself in less then 7 visits. You get free upgrades and BOGO on all coffee drinks. I have gotten 8 completely free iced lattes in 2 weeks!!

I was very exited to get the soul origin app as I solely buy my ice coffee from them and love their food. Unfortunately this app is very disappointing. There have been a couple of problems I have experienced. I got a notification saying that for Tuesdays throughout march iced drinks were $4 when ordering through the app. Of course I was eager because I love their iced drinks. When trying to order the iced drinks they continually showed up in my cart as the full price $7. I kept refreshing the app and I even deleted it and reinstalled it. Upon reinstalling it when ordering it can up with a ‘$4 iced drinks’ subheading in the menu. When I went to purchase two drinks from there they again were full price $7. It’s very disappointing that they have this offer yet when I go to a lot of effort to use their not very well set out app, I can’t even get the said offer. It would have been so much easier to just go to the store and order it rather than play around with the app, which advertised the $4 offer yet did not reciprocate it. I know I sound like a Karen rn, but I’m just very disappointed. The app would also really benefit from doing Apple Pay, as having to put in my debit card details Is not the most desirable. Also being able to add your rewards card to your Apple wallet would also be amazing. I love soul origin but the app needs A LOT of work. Soul origin has such a big following and customer base but the app does not support them at all.
