This is a great way to exercise abacus skills. Learning to use an abacus is great brain training; learning a new way to think about numbers and math. It’s also meditative - puts you in the moment.
Perfect presentation in both concept and programming with the user in mind. I have tried many Soroban apps and this is the first one I’ve really stuck with for practice. I have improved accuracy and speed and always look forward having a few spare minutes throughout the day for fun challenges. Very grateful to the talented person who developed and offered this app.
Fine for practicing addition & subtraction- if they can add a landscape mode, multiplication & division practice will be feasible and it would be a great app.
