SongSheet Pro: Setlist helper

SongSheet Pro is still the VERY BEST app for SONGWRITERs / SINGERs / PERFORMERS I’ve been using this app for over 10 years, and it is still my most favorite app for Songwriting & Singing. I’ve tried so many apps before I decided on this one, & I made the right choice! This app is very intuitive: just type, copy or paste in lyrics & chords. It’s that easy! I love that I can add an audio track to my songs to remember it, practice with it or to “sweeten” the performance. And I love how I can change the key to a song, at any time to see if it suits my vocal range better. Now you can even scan in old binder images & even convert those images into text files. I can’t say enough about this app. I highly recommend it! Try the free trial & then buy the full Lifetime unlock version (one time purchase price) so you don’t have to worry about a subscription. The developer is always adding new features, so you can trust that it will be worth it even 10+ years from now! I use this app multiple times a week, bought the lifetime version and haven’t regretted it. I like being able to not only add the chords I want to a song, but have the ability to make a custom chord. Also having the ability to transpose a song is great, especially when there are multiple people who perform the same song in different keys. My biggest wish list items would be: 1. Have the ability to use the search bar to search for lyrics, like a keyword search. Sometimes I won’t remember the name of a song but I would remember some of the lyrics. If I could type in the search bar for a keyword and get not only songs with that word in the title, but also get songs that has that word in the lyrics that would make my 4 star rating a 5!!! 2. It would be nice to be able to use the Nashville numbering system as a way of chording. When creating a “custom” chord, I have often wished for a button next to the “custom…” titled “Nashville numbering”, or “Number system”, or something like that, and still be able to add a ‘min’, ‘dim’, ‘sus4’, ‘b5’ etc. 3. What may be more helpful even is having the ability to add a user’s ‘custom’ or ‘favorite’ chords to the ‘library’ of chord options to choose from, and numbers (or someone’s “favorite” chords) could be added to it. Then when chording a song, they would already be there, instead of having to choose another option. Although technically numbers can be added as a chord as a custom option, it can get old real quick having to do that over and over with each new song. I still really like the app and hope the developer keeps doing a good job, and hopefully considers these suggestions from my humble perspective.

As a performing vocalist and piano player, I have been surviving off of a cumbersome three-ring binder for years! SongSheet Pro has completely changed the way I perform music at Church Worship services, coffee houses and small venues. I can easily chord new music with lyrics, and quickly transpose into different keys as needed through the app. Everything is laid out in a user friendly manner, so I am able to gather songs and create set lists in moments. The app has a black background screen option with the lyrics and chords appearing in blue, to accommodate a lower lit venue. I am able to send my set lists to other musicians with or without chords above the lyrics. It has the iDrop feature to share completed music with other iPads, which is such a time saver. Plus as an added bonus, the app creator is wonderful to work with and quickly responds back to questions or concerns. There are so many other wonderful tool inside SongSheet Pro as well. I am more than 5 Stars happy with my purchase! It is such a time saver and so convenient! Well done on this app and thank you for providing such a tremendous songbook!! Sincerely, Teresa
