20$ for a broken stream

Had this App when it first came out as a long anticipated alternative from paying over 280$ for one cable channel, for a local broadcast sporting event. The App (at the time) was only for firestick and IOS/Android. Stream would stop to buffer every few seconds making it unbearable to watch. Think maybe my ISP was acting up or maybe even buying a newer firestick would help, it didn’t. I had to cancel and wait for the App maybe to be out for awhile to work out its kinks hopefully, here I am a year or so later biting the bullet to be able to watch playoff hockey and despite the App being on Roku and other supported smart devices and such now since, the stream was still slow, patchy, delayed and buffering relentlessly . If you are charging 20+ dollars for an app, you’d expect it to deliver amazing results like being able to watch ALL scheduled games. I pay for the app and the first two broadcast were on ABC 👌 now has even charged my wife’s account two days after we had canceled and notified us it was cancelled 👏🏻👏🏻. You could contract this low budget local sports broadcast through the CW or something similar like they use to in the FSN days, where on a local free channel can be watched with a 30$ satellite you can buy at Walmart. Instead it’s always money hungry greedy mega subscription streaming rob you scheme. And they wonder why viewership is low or people use illegal streams or buy the Vee see boxes is because there’s no easy way to successfully watch these games unless you pay 280$ a month for local cable premium sports package or 180$ for Fubo because this 500$ a year app is still trash after a few years.

Great App

I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews however I am really happy I got this app. I have XFinity and the Xfinity stream app only let’s you stream live sports at home on home Wifi so if I was out I would miss the Pens games regardless if I was connected to another person’s WiFi or using cellular data. This app allowed me to watch live Penguins hockey on a friend’s WiFi and also using cellular data when not connected to WiFi. The video is smooth and clear and there isn’t any lag or buffering that I noticed. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to keep up with Pens and Bucs games away from home get this app.

Life

I don’t ask for much in this world, a few small pleasures maybe, and for 162ish days a year, I get to do something I truly love… watch baseball. Streaming baseball is extremely difficult so when I saw this app come out for my favorite team I was overjoyed. That joy has since been replaced by worry and pain when I use this little, evil, inept, application. I do not know much in this world, less about apps, but I now also do not know how a thing who’s entire existence is to do one singular thing, cannot do that thing even decently. Even half-hearted would be respectable and would not vex me as much as the complete confusion this app operates under. Features: sometimes it needs WiFi sometimes it refuses to work on WiFi If you are watching on your phone and you move it will not work It once denied me access because I was not in the market for broadcasting as I was sitting at my desk at my job I hate that’s 3 minutes from the home field where the Pirates were actively playing also I was watching the game 10 minutes prior and now I can’t even numb my own pain from my job. Oh a loading error better refresh, nah that doesn’t work, close the app and open it again, nope still not working better restart your phone. Nope doesn’t work turns out humanity is doomed so you might as well just bury yourself alive haha. What are we doing? I don’t even mind the fact that this team is run by a parasite when I am attempting to use this app. I don’t even think about the man who haunts my every nights rest. Maybe that’s the whole point, use pain to distract from the tyrant. This app requires suffering to operate it… and then the Pirates lose and the Pirates owner collects your suffering and puts it in his basement with his fat stacks of cash. Now, suffer and generate add revenue for the worlds smallest glasses, the worlds dumbest dork, so he can continue to not invest his money even in a certificate of deposit, just stacking cash to remain exactly a billionaire loser dork an never die. Anyway, this app is a deep open wound in my soul that stings and burns as I wade through the ocean of Pam that is life, but I gotta watch my Bucco’s I guess so 1 stat let’s go Bucs.
