Interesting yet Simple Game

I want to start by saying I have only had this game for about a day, nor do I often rate games, so my opinion might not by the best. Smashing Four is similar to Clash Royale, but with a twist on battling. You will have a deck of four characters, each (once unlocked) will have a special ability, which is its defining trait. You will “smash” your units into opposing units to do damage. All in all it seems like a good game, but I only gave it four stars because I feel like there is room for improvement. Epic and Rare cards could be a little easier to get, but this is a more minor concern. I am already up to the third arena but still lack many cards from the first and second arena. This perhaps could be solved with shorter wait times for orbs, more orb storage, and more instant rewards. I also have some ideas to add. It might be cool for characters to have a second ability, that they unlock later, or maybe a “passive” and an “active” skill. This could help make the characters more unique. I also have not yet seen any signs of a clan war, or anything similar to that. Although many other games have that, this game could greatly benefit from it, especially by making it enjoyable and unique. Other than these suggestions, the game so far is great and if you are considering it, you should get it!

I keep coming back

This game is not flashy and not something I’d call exciting but after I stop playing for awhile I end coming back. The simplicity of the game is its best feature as well as somewhat of a problem because you can be successful with not knowing anything at least in the short term. But if you learn what each unit does a level of skill starts to reveal itself. The characters are unique and fun and if you get past the simplistic appearance and the straight forward game play and involve yourself in the gameplay beyond the main arena the game will open up and become more than it appears at first. And while this is not at least to this point is a hugely followed game the developer is keen to go the extra steps to make the game work for all the players. It took me a while and more than one deletion to understand the charm in this game and the main reason I would download it is the contact the seemed above and beyond what other games seem to do at least from what I see sure if you spend tons of cash you’ll here from the developers but I spent very little and the attention was still there. Each time I deleted it I had a twinge of guilt that i was letting someone down so whenever I could not find something new this game was sitting in my head and finally I understand this game and enjoy it very much.

Great Game, But Pay-to-Win

I have recently been playing this game because my dad got it and we have been having an awesome time. I love the original feel to this game and the unique cards with different power-ups and strategies that can be formed with them, as well as the weight and speed aspect to each card that allows the player to have to learn and get used to cards. Overall I love every part of the game, except for one major thing - the rewards system. It is understandable how you can only allow players to obtain so much for winning generic matches, such as the orbs and daily chests, however gameplay starts to slow down from mid 1500-up until you enter the rewards systems of the 2000 trophies such as my dad. (He’s in World Team USA, display name Walker). The tournament idea was a very new and intriguing idea that I actually was very fond of, until after I played both of them, I had to then start spending gems to play them. If there was maybe a monthly tournament or something like that then it would be much more fun to play and try to earn yourself cards. I understand you cannot give players too much items for completion, for the sake of having them want to come back and log on everyday and also to try to get them to buy gems, however there should be rewards for the players who are less fortunate to be able to buy gems. It would be nice to take into consideration that demographic. Other than that, the game is an awesome change of pace from most games on the AppStore currently and I appreciate the constant updates and attention to the game. I hope you could take my suggestions into consideration for future updates!
