Smart Square Go

Was late for work the other day because even though I refreshed multiple times; the app never updated my work assignment for the night. This app is so unreliable. There was an obvious problem that employees were being paid less incentive to pick up shifts; and our leaders kept regurgitating the same SmartSquare rhetoric they’d been given by the “experts”. There isn’t anything very “Smart” about this database, period.

Ever since I have downloaded the app I have stopped receiving notifications via text only email. I have double checked my settings and they are set up the same as previously when I would use the website. This is a problem for me because I almost missed the window to self schedule because I was reliant on the notifications to alert me when the schedule was open. Also, I travel between multiple hospitals and do not know where I am going until updated in the schedule. I turned on notifications for “deployable shift confirmation “ and do not get a notification once my site has been updated. If this could be fixed it would really make my nights go smoother knowing exactly where I’m going when updated in Smart Sqaure.

I love using smart square for work it is super easy from a user standpoint when viewing your shifts and trying to figure out when you’re working. However, I just downloaded the app cause it was just created or published and I am sad to see the calendar view does not have the scheduled hours you work in the calendar days on when you click on that day does is show you what you work. No I am a very visual person and I absolutely loved how the online app showed you the shift you were working on the calendar, it makes it sooooo easy. Please smart square app creators, make the view of the calendar able to edit. Thanks!
