Slumberkins

I absolutely love this app!! I hope that Slumberkins also creates a game app, because I think their messages are so needed. I am so thankful that I get to raise my child in a time where resources like Slumberkins exist! Thank you Slumberkins for helping this mom with such beautiful, thoughtful, fun and interactive ways to get powerful messages about their social and emotional health to my only child. It’s amazing how much these affirmations help me, as well as my child.

Slumberkins has done it yet again! Their mission has always been to promote positive affirmations. Creating more caring and confident individuals. The affirmations have not only helped my kids with their big feelings, but I have found myself sitting down and reciting them when needed too. Well… we now have a way to listen and repeat these messages back. The new Slumberkins app even has a feature to record/video us reciting each individual affirmation. My littles were so excited to record themselves and play it back. I think it helps them relate more when they hear and see the recorded affirmation. The app is so easy to use. I have a 4 and 6 year old, they jumped right in and figured it out. We found what works best is to not get finger happy. My personal favorite is that once the affirmation is recorded, it not only saves the video to app but you have the option to save the video to your camera roll. Also, just look how cute the character animations are!

My son, who is 6 years old, LOVES the app and had to try out all the affirmations with all the friends. He of course loved recording himself reading the affirmations. It’s such an easy app to use, and he was able to use it by himself. I love that I’m able to record my son saying his daily affirmations; it’s such a fun way of getting him to do his affirmations and engages him and wants him to connect with his kins and of course get more kins to match the app. We’re definitely are adding this app time to our daily routine; it’s a nice grounding time together
