Sky+

I rejoined Sky and I am a platinum customer, I was told I can watch On Sky Go until my new box is put in. I have tried to watch things. I rang and was told I could only watch certain things?? I have now given up trying to use it as it puts a pop up saying I need to upgrade my account???? I am a double amputee with copd DVT and chronic nerve pain and I am also battling cancer at the moment. Tv and the internet are my only form of entertainment, so why tell me I can watch when clearly I can’t??? I give up!!! I’m waiting for Monday when I will probably have to have my old box fitted, well it’s still where it’s always been wired up to the communal dish on the roof. I asked my housing association before when Sky Q came out, if I could have it fitted. A man from the management company that looks after the gated community where I live that control what goes on for the owner, and was told to watch freeview because they weren’t interested in having their dish upgraded and I should watch freeview. I said if I watch freeview I will have seen over half of it 2 years ago on Sky, I’m supposed to be having Sky Q fitted on Monday. But my housing association doesn’t want to let me have access to the cupboard where all the leads come in from the communal dish??? I am going to ring them again as the first time they told me to get Sky to email them, but Sky don’t email anyone apart from every customer they ever had?? I DK roll on Monday

Since recent upgrades, performance is patchy. Sometimes it is fine but I still keep getting told that I am not connected to my Sky box. This morning I set several programmes to record but next time I checked these had been cancelled. Also I was asked to give my box a 'friendly' name which I did. Sometimes the app uses this name and other times it just refers to the 'sky box'. Please resolve these issues. Until recently I have used the box for several years with no problem. Had great hopes of latest review but it still tells me I am not connected to my sky box and I have to connect nearly every (but not every) time. Very annoying. Please rectify. Addendum 1st September. None of the above has been rectified and a lot of people are complaining about the same thing. Latest problem in the last few days is that the TV guide will not go beyond 6.00 pm next Thursday. Every day I go on I expect to find this rectified but so far, no luck. Please sort out these problems!!!!!! 6th August 2019 When it works it is brilliant but nearly every day I get the ‘you are not connected any more’ message. Also it is sometimes not possible to record programmes by the app. PLEASE sort these bugs out.
