Showcase Cinemas – UK

I go to the Monday afternoon performances which are a brilliant price for members and not too crowded. I love I can get a costa coffee to take in rather than some random one. Plus I can purchase more choice in food than just the usual popcorn, hot dog or nachos .The staff are always helpful and polite . I have just one complaint, for people with disability there are not enough parking spaces and they are not checked. There should be blue badge only signs up . The small car park next to the area should also be disabled as there is a very big parking area for those who can walk. The spaces do not all need to be much wider, many people are disabled who do not use wheelchairs .

Quicker and easier than booking on the website

Obviously you can buy tickets fine. However, even if you’re logged in to your app, you still have to add your free membership insider number to your ticket (unsure whether you still get the points without it?) You can’t copy & paste it from the qr card in the app, so you have to write down the 14 digit number then type it in, fine if you’re at home or have a pen! But if you haven’t, you’d have to flick from the app to your notes remembering as many digits as you can in 1 go, likely 4-6 a time? So flicking in tween apps 3 times. Also, still haven’t been able to confirm the state of the seats in the cinema screen I’m booked at?! It’s a showcase de lux, but some screens have non recliner seats & unless you get the xlr, the may be standard & uncomfy, as others have reviewed negatively before. Come on Showcase cinemas! All your cinemas & app need to be as good as Odeon!
