Skip - Food & Grocery Delivery

I absolutely hate this delivery service and would not recommend it to anyone. But yes unfortunately I have to use this service until I got a new delivery service. I been using this for about 3 years or so. My kids and me order basically everyday sometimes more than once a day. I rely on them and pay for my service and also helps and supports the company. I don’t care tho yes we all get something out of this as a customer a business owner and the app. I can’t use Uber eats because of a bank card issue I had and it’s AMEX and whatever so for a while I had to use SkipTheDishes as Uber eats had a issue with AMEX. Fine but then when you have 2 hungry children and me as well that pays and waits sometimes 40 min to an hour+ and my kids are hungry and don’t get me wrong they eat but when expecting a meal and waiting it’s hurting them and stressful on me to keep saying ok 5 more mins 10 mins whatever etc… so difficult that you can’t speak or contact anyone not even the driver . You need to open the app chat and msg support which takes time and frustration to input the wrong order or missing food items and get compensated back with credits doesn’t feed me or my family at the moment and help me much I just have to reorder again and pay a delivery fee and all that just to use the credits anyway…. Then there is times I would say 35% of the times I ordered my order doesn’t show up but the app says delivered and the driver is a thief and they take it and skip the dishes can never give me a reason as to why this happens and what’s going on with my food … I’m switching to DoorDash now

Planning on deleting this app! Trying to place my order was very difficult due to a issue with the app. I was hung up on by two different SkipTheDishes employees while they were “looking into the issue” The third person I spoke two didn’t offer anything helpful. Finally after I was able to place my order (I had to call back and get a refund for items I was forced to add) Once I finally received my order there were three missing items. The SkipTheDishes employee I spoke to about this issue was very rude and I ended up having to ask for her supervisor. Overall this was a huge ordeal just for a burger and I can’t wait for UberEats to offer delivery to my neighborhood.
