Single-handedly the best skin editing app! Said nobody in 2026. I still loved this app about 4 years ago and the interface seemed much easier to use. It was smoother, simpler and quicker. How did they make it so much harder? Because every time I try to outline a selected area to copy it, it’s so difficult, not precise, (even with small fingers), takes about 8 tries when it should take 1-2. When I use color dropper it messes up and takes a while. Trying to shade takes forever. The colors don’t save, you must save them manually. And you’ll forget. Rotating to other sides of the skin is very difficult & complicated. It’s a slow faulty process. I could create the same skin using this app within an hour in 2022 that I can make in 4 hours today. The app isn’t good anymore. It’s very difficult to use. Best for making small edits to a skin, not creating one entirely. I do like that they let you copy multiple sections. But the app is not nearly as smooth or precise anymore. It used to be the easiest way to make skins on mobile. They messed it up somehow, in the last 4 years. My friend also didn’t use it anymore due to this. Not to mention the app’s other issues like the ads, AI use (stealing art essentially), payments. As a veteran user from 8+ years ago this is unfortunate. It was nice to conveniently make a skin using your mobile device. It should not be that complicated, ever. Grieving the old Skinseed. Why would you ruin a good thing…
This app is to me the best way to make a custom Minecraft skin there are so many colors so many cool features and it’s really easy to start all you have to do to make your skin is you can either make a blank scan a completely new one you fill in all the pixels or you can even search up skins and use that or you can edit the skins some of my favorite skins that I’ve made literally I’ve just searched up girl skins and then I changed a little bit about it and boom I got my favorite skin ever and sometimes there is glitches where after you like add the skin to your Photos then when you try to add it into your actual skin it will say oops how silly that’s not a skin and for me when that happens I would say that maybe try again maybe try in a couple days restart your iPad or phone or computer it doesn’t work it might not work for some people and I understand if they do not like it because of that but I think it’s really simple to use and I found that it works for most of my friends and family. I would recommend This appPhotos then when you try to add it into your actual skin it will say oops how silly that’s not a skin and for me when that happens I would say that maybe try again maybe try in a couple days restart your iPad or phone or computer it doesn’t work it might not work for some people and I understand if they do not like it because of that but I think it’s really simple to use and I found that it works for most of my friends and family. I would recommend skin creator app to everyone to everyone
I like this app a lot. I used it to both download and create many of my own skins when i was younger, and I returned recently to get back on making my own skins. It has the good capabilities of many skin creators, including changing brightness, darkness, and saturation, and editing lassoed areas or filling areas with color boundaries. However, my main issue recently has been importing skins from the camera roll. when I exported a photo from skindex and imported it into Skinseed to further edit, the transfer didn’t work. The skin didn’t load. :/ Other than this bug, I’ve liked this app fairly well, and although it has its limitations such as only showing one surface face at a time, overall this leads to better accessability. If you are new to Minecraft or looking for a good skin app, get this one. Even if you don’t like to make your own skins or pixel art it has tons and tons of skins to pick from. Keep in mind most of the community skins only work on pocket edition and not Java (on computer, uses a launcher.) My main issue is importing skins from photos not working. Please fix this devs.
