Shopkick: Rewards Sidekick

I have had an account with this app since Sept 2017 and I have found that their rebates are no where as good as they used to be, and a store, Publix I shop at built a new store across the street from the original smaller store and when it happened I told them their walk in scanner was not active in the new store, that was over 2 years ago and there still hasn’t been anything done. The idea of new offerings is 6-10 cat food items, a couple types of candy and a couple magazines, then it was all about dog food! I don’t have any pets anymore, but this is nothing like they used to have available. It was a variety of groceries and that is what drew me to the app in the first place. I use 2 other apps besides this one and I haven’t been able to use the rebates from this app except once or twice in the last year. I used to get gif cards or cash every couple months. I used to recommend this app but not any longer, and they never got back with me on the walk in kick device in the now 2+year new store. I shop primarily at Publix and Winn Dixie as they are closest to me but the offers from both stores have suffered the most. If it wasn’t for the free ones they have available on the app I would not have any kicks at all. I gave it 2 stars in hopes that by posting the issues I have been having will finally be checked out and better grocery offers will be available instead of so many of a cat or dog food by its flavors! Grocery manufacturerss have just about stopped putting coupons out, and if you thought these apps were going to take their place, well that is just wishful thinking.

I was probably one of early users years ago when this app started. It was great for someone who lives in a big city because all the stores were with walking distance within a few blocks. And when your not working you have all the time to walk around. I was killing it with the points. I was making hundreds in gift cards a year. Enough to get an iPad every year. Than ones at it started with the points value reduced for scanning or lack of items to scan than the app was not working great anymore. When I enter the shop it says the shop is across the street which. It is not their GPS was not working great than one day I was locked out with still about almost $200 with of gift cards that I did not Cash out yet. I reached out to customer service and wanted to know what happened to my account? why I’m not able get into my account. They told me it was some Fraud activity. I don’t know how I can cause fraud by just walking into a store or just scanning as the app suggests it’s what makes it unique. This happened as the app was getting very popular and too many people were using it and not enough points to credit néw users. When I referred many of my friends to download and use the app same thing happened to them they would get big points on scan items or walk Ins and a few weeks later the kicks as they call them were dwindling to nothing. That’s why I deleted the app and found many other really easy and legit apps making way more on them than I did with this app

I do not know what to think, for years I've seen that the Apple store takes into account the opinions of its customers. I downloaded this application and I really want to use it, but I am surprised to see how many people have been suspended their accounts and have received in most cases generically generated messages. The company has the right to cancel membership without discussing privacy issues, because the agreements from people which accepts the terms of use of this application, and I understand that well, but the reputation and the overall number of people's satisfaction makes me more reasoning and I respect much the opinions offered in the store of our Apple world people, I love the IOS world and what it offers and that's why I decided at the moment not to rate this application. I will be looking for the most recent opinions and not the oldest opinions. I really want to love this app in the same way I love google reviews. For now I will remain neutral and I will continue analyzing the different comments. I requesting to Apple store to review the agreements and the obligation of the developers with the use of this app over the stores and business to check if they comply with the regulations and standards of the integration of consumers and stores when using scanning in their products. I believe that anyone exposed to being expelled from a commercial location should seek advice and take action on the matter. And this, I say with respect to all of us who are customers of the Apple store. And on behalf of those serious and committed application developers for the Apple store.
