This is a very simple game at it's core. This version is done well but the lack of a way to keep score limits the value. Add a timer and this would be in my rotation of time killing games for sure.
I really enjoyed my first game with this app. The rules could be clearer, but if you play the game at least once you will get the hang of it. As the previous post mentions, using the hint key will clue you in on the rules. Suggestions for updates include better written rules, a list of how many tiles you eliminated, so you can see how well you are doing for each time you play, and an option to change the background.
If you enjoy mahjong and you love to be challenged, you will enjoy this game. I'm not sure who wrote this description but the written directions are totally unclear. So here's why you will like this version of a game. STRATEGY is really at play. Unlike our traditional tile games, you have to be very selective when choosing the pair. They must make their way, the tiles that is, through a clear path. Helpful advice, when you play for the first time, use the hint feature. It helps to figure out the rules for making a match, because, and with all due respect, the way the writers described this game, is a puzzle on it's own. Worth the download...and be prepared to stare at the screen for a bit. But rest assured, you will get the hang of it. M. By the way, the developers also have that cool typewriter app, which I purchased the day I got my iPad....totally cool for emails and when you want something just a bit different to type on.
"Shisen-Sho HD" is very simple puzzle game using mahjong tile! Have some game modes for your play time. "Endless" is very simple. Not limit time. no...
