Shelter War: Zombie Games

Visually good, gameplay decent, but there has been no content upgrade since the Ark. Level 9 is the highest in this game. Though it’s a grind to get there, but really, 9? Story just stops at that point and it just becomes a repetitive cycle of siege, ads, same old events, ads. Where are the expeditions promised? Why can’t we go higher than 9? What happened? Ever since the last update and wow, we can go up to cc10 now, game crashes all the time. Go to Doom Dome,it crashes. Log into clan chat, crash. Do a siege, crash. Watch an ad,crash. Requests to developers equal throwing darts at a black hole. This should be called Crash Shelter. Ready to uninstall. The game developers don’t care about iOS players and have admitted as much in Discord. The latest update has resulted in crash after crash, in clan chat, in war, in sieges, in every aspect of the game. Filing tickets is useless, they respond with the usual b.s. robo answer, if they respond at all. Bringing up in Discord is useless, their rep will hem and haw until finally admitting that iOS is not a consideration. The level of sadistic creativity in crashing the game is only surpassed by the developers’ breath-taking incompetence.

Played for a several months. This is a PLAY for PAY game. Dropped a lot of money into game. The more you develop your squad, the higher the opponents that are placed to accomplish your daily tasks. If you spend money, difficulty becomes impossible. Universal data storage that I paid for said when purchased 5K but only loaded 1K hero experience. I don’t understand why squad strength almost 60K less, defeat me, just steal water, so you must buy more. Chests you win say you will receive, when you open, nothing, developers don’t respond or care, they got your money. I just went to level 9, I should only have stayed at level 8, opponents you cannot kill, siege opponents that are out of reach. Same with the battle dome. As soon as I dropped money, within a day, impossible again. I will not spend more. Just be warned, if you are a money player. The more money you drop, your improvement does not last long, and the more impossible it gets. You are pushed too hard to drop money into the game. Cannot advance or complete daily tasks. You might as well just play as a regular player until you cannot advance or you become bored/frustrated with this game. Don't waste your money. You are warned!!!

Just love the game and the mechanics. I really like how I can walk around my base in first person view. When leveling your command center just remember don’t level it till you’ve upgraded everything else as the enemy scales to what level your CC is. It just came out worldwide a month ago and runs smoothly and have been playing for about a week with no bug, or money issues like some of the other reviews. The transition between going from my iPad to my iPhone goes very fast with no hiccups. There are still a few options in the game that hasn’t been implemented but still a very fun game and can’t wait for more.
