Sewpal: Sewing Pattern & Guide

Update- I paid for the week… DONT DO IT! It didn’t change anything offered. Ad states over 2000 designs and patters there are the same for free as there is for paid which is roughly around 100? Maybe? I tried the AI again which is supposed to create a pattern… NOPE! Just don’t bother honestly. I tried the free trial and ran through a bunch of the designs to see if what they were advertising is true. Unfortunately, it’s not. Some, not many, some have a vague step by step others just have a button for “need help” and it sends you to a poorly AI drive bot. As for the taking pictures of something and it’ll come up with a step by step pattern… nope another lie. I tried this on a basic tote I have and it gave me how to go about creating a pattern again no specifics very vague and not really helpful. As far as over 2k designs there were only about 50 that I had access to and none of them were great and most didn’t have guides/videos to assist.

Even though this app advertises said it is a sewing app and it is able to do things to assist with sewing. It’s memory from one message to the next is completely nonexistent so each time it answers the question or makes a change it completely forgets what it was working on in the previous message. It also will offer to do things for you like create a print PDF or email you a file when it cannot do that and then when you call it on, it’s inability to do that. It just says sorry so I don’t understand why it would offer to do things for you voluntarily if is unable to do them when you say yes please do that for me. This app is worthless and you’re better off using most any of the other AI‘s to do sewing when I asked a similar inquiry of them they were able to give me more detailed information with better diagrams that were usable!

i mean this app has EVERYTHING you need to begin your sewing journey. i’m brand new to sewing literally all i’ve done so far is thread my machine and practice a few stitches on sample fabric. and this app has made beginning a project seem almost impossible to self teach, to within reach. i’m so excited to see where this journey takes me and i think this app is going to be a HUGE help in that.
