Curio - Antique Identifier

I am really pleased with this app. It gives me so much more historical context than a google lens’s search. The estimated value is a little high sometimes but that’s understandable based on online items for sale. However there is one huge gap that would make this app 5 stars and ensure I use it for life - the ability to add text context when you upload a picture. I can have an item with a clear makers mark, but I have nowhere to notate that with the photo, so it often gives me details of the incorrect item because it has to guess at the maker based on the one photo I can upload. Please please add this feature! It would also be amazing to be able to navigate away from the app while it’s “analyzing” without causing it to error and hav in f to start over. Hoping to see improvements to this wonderful app!

This app is spot on! It’s accurate and I love that if you have additional details to add that can’t be submitted with the one photo, you can use the pencil tool to add further information on your item. The description then updates as well as the estimated price that the item could be worth! It’s so simple to use and gives you results within seconds! I think the yearly cost of the app is a steal and well worth the price. I’m so happy I pulled the trigger on this one! I’ve been scanning items left & right and love finding out more on these prized possessions and what they’re worth. What an amazing tool to have! You won’t be disappointed!!

Appologies for swearing. LOL. I was impressed. Downloaded the app with the weekly option. Immediately put it through its paces with an array of antiques I have four out of five were spot on including a Tang dynasty clay sculpture. #5 was off a bit as it was a Pacific Islander war club attributed to Samoa and not the Solomon Islands. However both are very similar in design. I dropped back in to the app and upgraded to the yearly subscription. This app along with Live Auctioneers should be a really good match and make each tool even more useful. Bravo!
