The old app allowed me to create my own saved routes which was easy to go to and find. This app does is Super confusing and hard to understand you have to specifically know the direction of each route because it will show you times of both ways but hard to tell which way is yours. It’s far from accurate I have so many ppl come up to me and ask me if I know what time the bus or trains were coming because they couldn’t tell how to find that info out on their own. The other help you find the location of the stop I have yet to find this feature in the new app. I think they should have kept both apps and let us choose the one we prefer instead of forcing this change on everything. The only plus I like about it is the “nearby” routes feature. As I write this review I’m currently waiting for the 26 Bus at Frankford transportation center/terminal the app says the bus will be leaving at 11am it’s now 11:03am no bus has pulled up nor does the app provide any updates or info on what’s on going on. I REALY HATE Septa and I see why the city doesn’t respect them enough to even pay the fare.

This app is close to useless. Let’s say I want to route myself to a particular destination, and I want to know the location of the various modes of transportation that I need. This is useful if you’re trying to figure out if things are running late, and even more important if you are transferring. However, once you find a route, you have to go individually into a separate tab to find out the location of the various modes of transportation. Apple Maps manages to do this all in a central location, but this app requires you to tap multiple places and lose track of what you’re tracking. That said, it is nice to show bus detours in a coherent way. And if you are simply adding a single route to your favorites, it does provide some useful information on the bus status. Overall, it does not provide a significant difference between what is available on third-party apps as far as location tracking is concerned. However, it is also a useful centralized location for septa key loading and tracking.

I understand SEPTA has a shortage of drivers, but can’t they put a notification informing potential passengers? Today I waited 30 minutes for the Route 40 bus to Montgomery Avenue that was supposed to come at 12:30. That bus never showed up. The next Route 40 bus came st 12:50, a couple minutes past its scheduled run. I don’t mind the bus being 5 or 8 minutes late, but half an hour is a bit ridiculous. I am hoping there is a notice in advance telling your customers of any delays. I rely on SEPTA as my primary source of transportation because I am unable to drive due to a disability, so I get very frustrated when I am waiting 15 minutes to half an hour on a bus. Please try to allow your passengers to know if there will be a serious delay of more than 5 minutes it would be greatly appreciated.
