Scenic Map Alaska

We use this app every time we go hunting or just out into the wilderness. It’s great that you can use it with no phone service because we all know how well we get service in Alaska! We like looking back or playing our tracks from prior years hunting to see where to go. We have used it to track when we drop our pack and need to do a stalk, you can place a pin where you left an item or seen something. We share this app with everyone we know that goes hunting or hiking. We have been using it many many years now.

This app has been great for me. I've used it for the past 7months and have hiked in Anchorage, willow, Chitna, hunted in kodiak with it, and I am about to use it to track my route down Susitna river this weekend. I have emailed a couple of the GPX files to a friend at USGS and he says he can print me a map with my track on it! So as soon as I here back of from him i'll comment on that as well. I thinks it's great for us who travel on the ground.

Purchased Alaska and Western US to use in the airplane when I have no Internet connection in the air and I am flying the back country and bush. Great app. Replaces paper maps with the added ability to zoom in and track where I am with a Bad Elf GPS Device. Thanks developers. Good work on this one guys.
